Literacy For All hires local school teachers to do
after school tutoring
Literacy For All provides 51 hours of
tutoring including pre/post testing with a pupil-teacher ratio of 6 -
12 students per class. Teachers receive nine hours of Professional Development
and are monitored by a Literacy
For All professional. Teachers are recruited from the school
site.
The BASI pre-test is administered and used to develop
an Individual Tutoring Plan for your child. The post-test BASI is given
at the conclusion of services to measure improvement.
There is a Literacy For All tutor conference
with each parent to report BASI testing results and to develop your child's
Individual Tutoring Plan. A copy of the plan is given to each parent.
End of the Unit progress reports are provided to the parents. |
